Design Synergies (DSA) is an Architectural & Interior Design firm based in Buffalo, New York with specific expertise in interior architecture and sustainability consulting. Our award-winning design work includes cultural, education, healthcare, workplace, and hospitality projects in Canada and the United States. 

DSA is a collaborative design practice that seeks out project opportunities with like-minded clients and design professionals.

As a small firm, we are responsive and flexible, but with our network of partners, we have the capacity of a larger firm. We work in a multidisciplinary office shared with three other creative businesses: an interior designer, a marketing consultant, and the Buffalo office of a Canadian-based architecture firm. Separately, we each have our strengths & expertise. Together, we pursue larger projects and share resources as well as space. 

After 20 years of practice in Buffalo, we have worked with many larger A/E firms, consultants, and construction companies on a wide range of projects. In a small city like this, project-based partnerships - like the ones we’ve built our firm around - tend to grow into long-term business relationships. From this experience, we have developed a network of sole practitioners and small firms that we draw from whenever we need them.
